The Old Hall is a very special wedding venue, offering a magical, medieval setting against a backdrop of ancient woodland. Considered Tatton Park's hidden gem, couples can choose to get married within the grounds of the Old Hall or hold their ceremony in the licensed ‘Great Hall’ or ‘Cruck Barn.’ 

The Great Hall itself is licensed to hold ceremonies for up to 40 guests. This room provides an enchanting setting for your ceremony. You can then celebrate your wedding breakfast and evening reception in a marquee or Tipi. Set up within the private, leafy grounds of our wonderful Medieval Old Hall.

Once the heart of the estate, Tatton Park's Medieval Old Hall survives as the oldest building on the estate. The single storey Great Hall still retains the shadowy atmosphere of its medieval beginnings. Dimly lit by tallow candles and flickering fires, gives you a sense of how it would have been during the Medieval and Tudor periods.

The medieval building stands near the disappeared Tatton village. Humps and hollows in the surrounding ground show where houses once stood. The site is a `Scheduled Ancient Monument', considered an area of significant historical and archaeological importance in the North West.
