Celebrate the vibrant beauty of spring at Tatton Park with our wet felting workshop. You will create a stunning 2D felted image inspired by Tatton’s Gardens and rhododendrons in full bloom. This seasonal workshop offers a chance to learn the art of wet felting while surrounded by the colourful landscapes of Tatton’s renowned gardens.
Under the guidance of Vicky Pulman from Needlessly Felted, you will craft a felted artwork capturing the essence of Tatton Park’s springtime splendour, featuring vibrant rhododendrons and the lush blooms of the season. This hands-on session is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, offering step-by-step instruction and inspiration drawn directly from the gardens.
What’s Included:
- A vast range of materials, including wool and silk in a range of rich colours to replicate the vivid blooms and textures of spring. Plus, other fibres to give tone and texture.
- Tools and equipment for wet felting provided for use during the session
- Expert guidance on wet felting techniques, including layering, colour blending, and adding detail.
- Entry to Tatton Park Gardens, giving you the chance to explore the grounds and take inspiration from their springtime beauty before or after the session.
