Create a beautiful wet felted scene inspired by Spring in the Gardens

Celebrate the vibrant beauty of spring at Tatton Park with our wet felting workshop. You will create a stunning 2D felted image inspired by Tatton’s Gardens and rhododendrons in full bloom. This seasonal workshop offers a chance to learn the art of wet felting while surrounded by the colourful landscapes of Tatton’s renowned gardens.

Under the guidance of Vicky Pulman from Needlessly Felted, you will craft a felted artwork capturing the essence of Tatton Park’s springtime splendour, featuring vibrant rhododendrons and the lush blooms of the season. This hands-on session is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, offering step-by-step instruction and inspiration drawn directly from the gardens.

What’s Included:

  • A vast range of materials, including wool and silk in a range of rich colours to replicate the vivid blooms and textures of spring. Plus, other fibres to give tone and texture.
  • Tools and equipment for wet felting provided for use during the session
  • Expert guidance on wet felting techniques, including layering, colour blending, and adding detail.
  • Entry to Tatton Park Gardens, giving you the chance to explore the grounds and take inspiration from their springtime beauty before or after the session.

This workshop combines the calming, tactile art of wet felting with the vibrant energy of Tatton Park’s gardens in Spring. You will leave with a unique 2D felted masterpiece to frame or gift, celebrating the colours and textures of one of Cheshire’s most iconic locations.
