Lecture by Anthony Norman entitled 'Colour in the Leaf' on Sunday 19th January 2025 at 2.30pm at the Tenants' Hall, Tatton Park
Anthony and Susan Norman run the specialist Conquest Plants Nursery in Macclesfield. Their area of expertise is in growing and using variegated and coloured foliage hardy nursery plants and they have a great knowledge of how to get the most from this range. The Conquest Plants Nursery specialises in shrubs, grasses, perennials and bulbs with variegated, silver, yellow, red or bronze-purple leaves all grown in peat free compost.
Mr Norman started his career at Reaseheath College training in Horticultural Nursery Practise where he gained a distinction. Conquest Plants Nursery has exhibited at County based Flower Shows winning gold medals, and at the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park.
Mr Norman is a speaker on various gardening-based topics, gives practical demonstrations and provides workshops.
The talk is free to members, just show your membership card at the Tatton Park entrances for free parking in the main car park.
The talk is £5 for non-members. (Parkland vehicle entry fee applies, pay on the day)
