Create an intricate needle felted aerial view of Tatton Park’s Kitchen Garden.
Join us for a creative evening celebrating the beauty of Tatton Park’s Kitchen Garden in our needle felting workshop. Capture the intricate aerial view of the Kitchen Garden layout through the art of needle felting, blending vibrant fibres and embroidery textures to recreate this stunning space.
Led by Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike, though it would be helpful to have some confidence in sewing. You may of course choose not to add any stitches. Using photographs and garden imagery for inspiration, you will create a detailed 2D felted representation of the garden’s neat rows, flourishing plots, and historic charm.
What’s Included:
- A wide range of high-quality felting wools in vibrant colours to depict the garden’s textures and features.
- Embroidery threads in a rainbow of colours. Including ombre shades.
- Tools including felting needles, mats, and shaped moulds to aid your creation.
- Step-by-step guidance on needle felting and embroidery techniques to craft precise details and stunning designs.
- Entry to Tatton Park Gardens, allowing you to explore the Kitchen Garden before or after the workshop for added inspiration.
Celebrate the artistry of Tatton Park’s historic Kitchen Garden, whilst discovering the meditative process of needle felting. You will leave with a unique and tactile artwork that captures the charm of this iconic garden, perfect for framing or gifting.
