The Secret Path Trail with Percy the Park Keeper 2 April - 13 JunePercy secret path thumbnail 260x210

Enjoy a delightful family trail in Tatton Park’s spring gardens, inspired by Nick Butterworth’s book, ‘The Secret Path’. Follow winding pathways to help Percy take care of nature and wildlife. Stop off for a selfie or two at Percy’s potting shed where you can enjoy the sights and scents of spring before heading off to finally track down his furry animal friends. Collect your sticker reward at the end! Details and tickets here.

Forest Bathing

Look out for the peaceful Forest Bathing sites introducing visitors to the ancient Japanese practice of spending time beneath trees to boost health and happiness. Forest Bathing is the art of connecting with nature through your senses. Listen to bird song; look at the leaves; smell the pine or soil; touch the grass; feel the air. Breath nature in deeply and find calmness and wellbeing.

Scarecrow Festival in the Gardens

Celebrating the unsung heroes and inspiring people who have helped us through the pandemic, see which scarecrows you can spot throughout the Gardens, then head down to the Farm for more inspiring scarecrows amongst the animals. Thanks to everyone who submitted scarecrow designs and hero nominations, come on down and see if yours has been chosen and make sure to check out some of our favourite scarecrow drawings from local schools and online submissions displayed in the Garden exit.
