A special opportunity to gain creative writing inspiration and guidance from successful playwright and former Cheshire poet laureate, Joy Winkler. Of this workshop, Joy said: “Writing memoir is a very particular and often therapeutic discipline. However, as well as a compelling story we need to include good quality writing worthy of engaging our readers. In this workshop we will look at some published memoirs and discuss how best to include description and well-drawn, credible and interesting characters; the mainstay of good creative writing no matter what the speciality.”
